On December 28, 2018, the fuel cell division organized and held a seminar on space regenerative fuel cells in the 1920 conference room of the scientific research simulation building. Major general Zhou kanghan of China Astronaut Research and training center and his party attended the conference.
At the meeting, Minister Wang Tao introduced the project background of space regenerative fuel cell technology development and the development of in-depth demonstration work of 811 manned lunar landing. Experts from the fuel cell division and China Astronaut Research and Training Center launched in-depth discussions on the technologies of heat recovery and comprehensive utilization, water comprehensive recovery and purification, high-pressure water electrolysis of hydrogen, oxygen in-situ regeneration and collection, and purification of hydrogen and oxygen fuel cells. The two sides reached a consensus on water quality analysis and detection, the inheritance and development of space water electrolysis technology, and the impact of the lunar environment on the renewable fuel cell system, and will carry out joint technology research and in-depth demonstration in the future. Finally, assistant Meng Kai reported the progress of 811 fuel cell industrialization projects.
