On December 12, 2018, liwenrong, director of science and Technology Department of Shanghai University, visited 811 fuel cell projects. The following were wangguining, general manager of Shanghai jening New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., general manager of guohydrogen power (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., general manager of wuxiaoyun, director SunWeiMing and general manager of Shanghai qingneng company, guzhijun. Minister Wang Tao, assistant minister mengkai and director of Zhangrui of 811 fuel cell business departments attended the reception.
First, assistant minister mengkai introduced the situation, fuel cell industry foundation, product development, pilot line construction and development planning. Experts came to exchange and communicate the details of fuel cell in the Institute. Then experts introduced the relevant situation of Shanghai University, Jenin new energy and national hydrogen power. Finally, all parties have expressed their opinions that in-depth cooperation can be carried out on fuel cell products, technologies and components, and various superior resources can be jointly applied to various channels in Shanghai for project and financial support.
Shanghai University has invested heavily in introducing academician Zhang Jiujun of the National Institute of engineering of Canada to study fuel cell technology. Academician Zhang Jiujun has conducted postdoctoral research on fuel cell catalyst at California Institute of technology, and then joined York University of Canada and British Columbia University to develop non platinum catalyst and sensor. In 1998, the most senior scientist joined Ballard company in Canada, engaged in proton exchange membrane fuel cell research, and was awarded as academician of National Academy of engineering of Canada in 2015.
